Why Hands Face or Ears?
- The large concentration of nerves in the small areas of the hands, face and ears allows reflexology on these body parts to be more soothing and calming than a full body massage.
- Reflexology works with the nervous system in the body. The hands face and ears are in closer proximity to the brain, the controller of the nervous system, than the feet.
- Accessibility ...hands face and ears are "in the open," allowing for easy access without the need to remove any articles of clothing.
